Where are we ?
The Beechworth Chain Gang Mountain Bike Club is based in Beechworth, North East Victoria, Australia. Beechworth is a well preserved historic gold mining town that has grown into a major tourist destination with restored colonial architecture and streetscapes. Beechworth is in the centre of Victoria’s North Eastern Region and is surrounded by National Parks and natural bush. Bordered by the Australian High Country and the Plains of the Riverina, Beechworth is a perfect location to centre yourself for hours of Mountain Bike riding locally and in other close by locations, all within a short drive. Our rugged landscape lends itself to a really unique riding experience.

Membership
Membership is $20 per year plus compulsory membership to MTBA. The membership cost to MTBA varies depending on your requirement as a social rider, junior or competition license holder. Please go to MTBA for more information on licenses and the insurance coverage that is included.
Resources
The club has various resources available to members including 3 bike trailers that can carry 9, 16 and 22 bikes. The 22 bike trailer is only suitable for made road use but the othes are suitable for made and dirt roads. These are available free to club members and are available for use outside the club for a hire fee. Please contact the club at
