This Sunday 8th of November the Chaingang will be having a working bee / ride day at Yackandandah DH track.
 
The plan is to work in the morning , have a lunch break then DH runs in the afternoon. The one thing we can't provide is shuttle transport , but if you can get yourself up the hill , go for it ! The shuttle road is suitable for 4wd only.
 
The clubs trailers will be at the track and will be available for use by working bee participants free of charge. You'll need to bring your MTBA membership card , but day licences will be available for $15. You can't ride without MTBA cover.
 
We will be clearing long grass at the race finish area and doing some finishing touches on a section of the shuttle road. We won't be doing any work on the DH track , its all good to go for the race.
 
Bring lawnmowers , brushcutters , rakehoes or shovels , gloves , a hat and sunscreen. There isn't a lot of work to be done and if we get a good number of workers out there , we'll finish everything in a few hours easy.
 
Lunch is BYO , don't forget to bring plenty to drink and some fly repellent too.
 
This is your chance to get some bonus practice runs in at the track before the race on the 14th / 15th of November. If you don't help out , you don't ride. No turning up at 11 , wandering around trying to look busy , then doing runs !
